Do I need a credit card to start?

No. The free plan needs nothing but an email address, and it never expires.

What happens to my data if I downgrade?

Nothing is deleted and nothing is ever decrypted by us. Sections beyond your plan's limits become read-only in the interface until you upgrade again.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes — billing is handled by Stripe, and you can cancel from the billing portal in one click. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

Is the paid plan more secure?

No — and we think that's important. Every plan gets the same zero-knowledge, end-to-end encryption. Paying unlocks more features, never more security.
